The band Jane’s Addiction canceled the remainder of their tour following a scandal and an on-stage fight

The vocalist started attacking the guitarist during a performance in Boston, Massachusetts.

Last Friday, September 13th, the members of the group Jane’s Addiction got into a fight on stage and although they apologized to their fans the next day for what happened, they have decided to cancel their tour.

"We want to extend a sincere apology to our fans for the events that occurred last night," Dave Navarro posted on Instagram along with the other band members, referring to the mental health issues that Perry Farrel has been battling and announcing the cancellation of the rest of the tour.

Members of Jane's Addiction had been accumulating tension for days

In the videos circulating on social media, you can see Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell starting to shout at guitarist David Navarro, and then punching him.

The security staff immediately went up on stage, grabbed the band's leader, and escorted him out of the Leader Bank Pavilion in Boston. Perry Farrell's wife, Etty, shared some details of the fight with the press.

Apparently, there was a growing "tension and animosity" among the members of Jane's Addiction, which increased with each performance and exploded that day. He also added that the vocalist was not satisfied with the volume at which the group was playing.

Jane's Addiction was formed in Los Angeles in 1985 and is considered one of the most successful groups in the early alternative rock scene. In addition to vocalist Perry Farrell and guitarist Dave Navarro, the band also includes drummer Stephen Perkins and bassist Eric Avery.

In 2013, the band was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. They have a total of four albums and recently reunited, after being separated for over a decade, to go on a tour across the United States, which would end on October 16 in Los Angeles.
