His wife, Judy, had worked for over 20 years as a trustee at the Eve Appeal charity organization, dedicated to research on gynecological cancer. The couple was known for their commitment to various charitable causes, and their tragic death has shocked their colleagues and friends.
Another couple who lost their lives in the shipwreck was that of lawyer Chris Morvillo and his wife, Neda Morvillo. Chris, who had represented Lynch in his trial in the United States, was a respected partner at the law firm Clifford Chance in New York, and had worked on high-profile investigations.
