The visit of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex has been marked by controversy, as some British media outlets labeled Colombia as a "dangerous" country, prompting a harsh response from President Gustavo Petro.

How did Meghan look at the meeting with Francia Márquez?

In the meeting with the vice president, they discussed the cyberbullying that exists on social media, something that both Francia Márquez and Meghan Markle have experienced: the vice president with racist insults and the duchess with similar harassment even before her marriage to Prince Harry.

Markle arrived in a navy blue outfit with a shirt collar vest by designer Verónica Beard, with a white bag and hair tied up. Harry did the same dressed in Brioni.

Both were warmly greeted by Márquez, who was wearing a white shirt with ruffles.

What will Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's agenda be in Colombia?

Harry and Meghan will remain in Bogotá until Friday the 16th. During their stay in the capital, they will attend meetings and events organized by Vice President Márquez.

Later, they will travel to Cartagena, where they will visit San Basilio de Palenque, the first free town in America, recently recognized as a municipality in Colombia.

On Sunday, the 18th, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will move to Cali to attend the 28th edition of the Petronio Álvarez Festival. The visit of Harry and Meghan has been highlighted by the Mayor of Cali, Alejandro Éder, as an event of "the highest level" for the city, which will soon be the venue for COP16, the world conference on biodiversity.

From the vice presidency of Colombia, it has been emphasized that the visit will allow the dukes to interact with Colombian leaders, youth, and women, as well as discover the rich cultural heritage of the country.
