According to the report by Infobae, the images show the former first lady with visible bruises on her arms and face, dating back to August 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

These photographs were sent by Yáñez to Fernández along with messages expressing his desperation and discomfort due to the alleged abuses. In one of the WhatsApp conversations, Yáñez reproaches: “This doesn't work like this, all the time you hit me. It's unbelievable. I can't allow you to do this to me when I haven't done anything to you. And all I try to do with a clear mind is to defend you and you physically hit me. There is no explanation”.

The situation worsens even more when, in another message, Yáñez points out that "you have been hitting me for 3 consecutive days," revealing the seriousness of the assaults she claims to have suffered.

As he sent her the photos of her bruises, he described how he got them: "And when you tied me up by the arms, you left me with bruises. This is from when you tied me up."

The complaint against Alberto Fernández

Fabiola Yañez filed a complaint against Alberto Fernández on Tuesday, August 6, through a video conference with federal judge Julián Ercolini, who charged the former president with minor injuries.

According to the aforementioned source, the judge obtained audiovisual material that alerted to acts of gender violence against the former first lady, from the forensic analysis of the cell phone of María Cantero, a long-time secretary of Alberto Fernández.

Ercolini prohibited Fernández from leaving the country, approaching the accuser, and communicating with her through any means.

The video with Tamara Pettinato

After the complaint from the former first lady became known, a video of Alberto Fernández with columnist Tamara Pettinato came to light. In this footage, Fernández's voice can be heard and the 39-year-old woman is seen drinking beer in the presidential office of the Casa Rosada.

For a few minutes, they have an intimate conversation where they declare their love for each other. It is worth noting that the date of the recording is not certain.

"Today we are breaking up," says Pettinato. "What are we breaking up?" asks Fernández while filming her with his cellphone. "Our relationship," the columnist responds.

"Did you have a relationship with me?" jokes the former president. "No! Just a friendship," she says.

After a few more jokes, the video concludes with a “I love you” from the radio host and a “me too” from Alberto.
