Elon Musk has been direct in his messages against President Nicolás Maduro, labeling him as a “dictator” after the National Electoral Council (CNE) announced him as the winner of the presidential elections held on Sunday, July 28 in Venezuela. The Tesla owner has taken a stand on his social network X, asserting that the opposition candidate Edmundo González was the actual winner. In this way, he has joined the voices that describe the Electoral Council’s announcement in this country as a “fraud.”

“The people overwhelmingly voted for González,” Musk said in one of his messages on X, where he has also reposted writings from the opposition leader María Corina Machado.

Nicolás Maduro reacted to the opinion matrix estimated by the owner of X, and on Tuesday he labeled him as "our new archenemy", and even invited him to fight.
"Maduro said, as reported by RPP, "There is something called social media that creates a virtual reality. And who controls virtual reality? Our new archenemy, the famous Elon Musk. He would like to come with his rockets and an army to invade Venezuela."
He continued by saying, “Elon Musk, whoever messes with me, will have a bad time!... You want a fight? I’m not afraid of you, anywhere, in the neighborhoods... If you want, I want!”
International media reported that Musk responded this Wednesday, accepting the challenge and setting his conditions. "If I win, he resigns as dictator of Venezuela; if he wins, I invite him on a free trip to Mars," he stated, inviting users to vote for who will be the winner.
The magnate did not rule out that Maduro knows how to defend himself. "He is a burly guy who surely knows how to fight."
Nicolás Maduro said that Elon Musk "is very scared."
President Nicolás Maduro labeled Elon Musk a "criminal" this Wednesday, stating that the billionaire entrepreneur is "very scared" after the challenge he made to him to fight, as reported by Efe.
"You're all scared, Elon Musk, because I told him 'let's see who's more powerful'... Anyone who messes with me, Elon Musk, dries up. Anyone who messes with Venezuela, dries up," Maduro reiterated.
