Taylor Swift has managed to surpass Whitney Houston as the artist who has spent the most weeks at number one on the best-selling albums chart for a week and was missing one more to tie with Stevie Wonder, who has reached 13 weeks at the top of this list.

Eminem prevented Taylor Swift from breaking more records

While Taylor Swift may be able to reclaim the top spot on the Billboard 200 thanks to the strong position of "The Tortured Poets Department," unfortunately, she will no longer be able to compete as the best-selling artist for consecutive weeks.

This is due to the new album recently released by Eminem called "The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)", which has managed to dethrone the reign of the biggest pop artist of today.

The rapper has sold 281,000 units, mostly in digital format, debuting at number one on the Billboard 200. Additionally, he managed to sell 144,000 physical copies and has accumulated over 220 million streams on various music streaming platforms.

For Taylor Swift to regain the throne, she needs other artists to not release new albums. However, the K-Pop group Stray Kids and BTS member Jimin are planning to release new music soon.
