Cristiano was part of the editions in 2004, 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2020, but now he will also participate in the 2024 edition, at 39 years old.

When competing in the tournament, the Portuguese star will reach his sixth participation, adding one more participation and leaving behind what Iker Casillas achieved.

Thus, Ronaldo will become the only footballer to have participated in six European Championships.

But it is not the only record that he can achieve, as there is a list that he could surpass as the competition progresses.

If he reaches the Final and conquers the title, he would add two more challenges, becoming the only footballer to compete in three definitions for the trophy.

CR7 will play in his sixth Eurocup.

If he lifts the cup, he would join 13 players who have already repeated the Euro title twice.

Another achievement that could be accomplished is becoming the oldest player to compete in the tournament. That record is held by Lothar Matthäus, who played at 39 years and 91 days old.

Finally, if he manages to score a goal, he will become the oldest footballer to achieve this, surpassing Ivica Vasic, who did so in the 2008 edition at the age of 38.
