What did Billie Eilish say?

In the recent episode of the podcast 'Miss Me?' by Lily Allen and Miquita Oliver, Billie spoke about her experiences becoming famous at 14, highlighting the personal challenges she faced due to her rapid rise in the music scene. The artist, known for her song "Ocean Eyes," expressed in an interview that this sudden recognition had significant repercussions on her personal relationships and friendships.

The artist reflected on her experience upon turning 20, realizing that most of the people in her circle were her employees, which led her to question the authenticity of her relationships.

"I looked around and they were just people I employ," the singer expressed.

The absence of friends in his close circle was noticeable, which strongly contrasted with the perception that others might have about his social life.

Why did you drift away from your friends?

The distancing from her friends began when her career took off. "I lost all my friends when I became famous, literally all of them, except for one, my best friend Zoe, with whom I have been friends since I was two years old," the singer said.

As a result of this distancing, the young artist found it increasingly difficult to relate to other people due to her fame. Upon turning 20, Billie realized something that deeply affected her.

"I was at a party and I realized that all my friends were my employees. Then, one of my best friends, who worked with me, suddenly quit and never spoke to me again. It was the worst thing that happened to me, and it made me realize that I could actually be alone," she added.
