New emails put the main suspect in the Madeleine McCann case in check

The young English woman has been missing since May 3, 2007.

Since her disappearance on May 3, 2007, her parents, the justice system, and the entire world have been waiting for the miracle of finding Madeleine McCann alive and finally knowing what happened and, above all, who was responsible for her prolonged absence.

Almost a month before his 21st birthday, the investigation managed to find a series of emails that contain messages directly linking and putting Christian Brueckner, the main suspect of kidnapping a girl who was only 3 years old at the time 17 years ago, in check.

Christian Brueckner, increasingly implicated

The researcher, Titus Stampa, was summoned to testify before a German federal court for other cases of child abuse in which Brueckner is involved. To the surprise of many, he presented new evidence linking the accused even more to McCann's disappearance.

Specifically, the agent indicated that the Federal Criminal Investigation Office (BKA), which found two email accounts linked to the suspect, ensuring that the information reveals details "related to the murder", as reported by the British newspaper, The Mirror.

For now, it is only known that the email contained messages sent by Brueckner that included images of sexual abuse of other minors. Stampa stated that the suspect deleted all emails from the account from the first half of 2007, which further incriminates him, as Madeleine disappeared in May of that year.

The German, Christian Brueckner, 46 years old, is a man with an extensive history of abuse and sexual crimes, therefore, he is serving a seven-year sentence for raping a 72-year-old woman in Praia da Luz, Portugal, the same place where Madeleine disappeared two years earlier.
